One of the most phenomenal and underrated places on earth is the Dead Sea.
It is the lowest place on the face of the earth and named the Dead Sea because the water contains so much salt and minerals that no life can exist in or near it. the texture of it's waters actually feels more like oil than water.
Unfortunately because of global warming, every year the Dead Sea is getting drier and it's water-level loses about 30 to 40 meters from its shores. Probably in 40 years or so there won't be much left of it.
I find it very sad.

Go visit it before its too late. Floating in these magical waters is a once in a lifetime experience.

I love the colors and the tiny bit of reflection of the guy walking in the standing water at the bottom of the photo
