Awesome project? History in the making? Report in!

Despite their fearsome grins, Lemon sharks are actually very docile creatures and will swim among divers for hours without even a sideways glance. I captured this shot on the transom of a boat in the Bahamas. The shark in the foreground was coming by to check things out, and the shark in the background must've wanted his portrait taken, too.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.
The camera is a Canon Digital Rebel. I had it housed inside an Ikelite housing (http://www.ikelite.com/web_pages/2dslr_350d.html).
This particular dive trip lasted for a week. During that time, I took 5000+ photos. I'll try to share some others.

Incredible capture....such confidence in the nature of these wild creatures no matter how they see us on the menu. The last sight some have seen when in other sharks company. The thoughts this image provokes to the way it touches those primal fears most of us have. Well done!

My daughter who is 13 and wants to be a shark photographer said to tell you the shark wanting is photo taken is a bull shark, consider yourself lucky! This is an amazing photo, she is jealous!
