Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

Cool shot. I'm with Peggy and think it's a wineglass.

It might be a little swirly for a wine glass, but it seems to have that bowl DOF and a magnification effect in the center which says that there's a stem. I'm going to go out on a limb and concur.
It's gorgeous. I love the color and liquidity. :)

maybe the glass or bowl is spinning then, not the camera.
