I think this photo can be interpreted in more than one way. When I got the idea to take the photo for the theme of faith, religion and the hypocrisy that can exist within a religion, church, or individual came up in my mind. If you choose to interpret the photo that way you can look at the Bible as representing the religion or faith a person has and the drugs would then be something bad. Perhaps someone who always appears to be the perfect person whether it is in church or the community secretly has a problem or addiction they are hiding. After I took the picture and thought about it more I interpreted it in another way also. The Bible can represent someone who has faith but maybe that faith isn’t enough to get them through their life and the drugs are anti-depressants to aid them in getting through everything.
