The Coffee Harvest

My family comes from a small town called Echapora in Brazil. It is located in the Brazilian Highlands about 3000 feet altitude, ideal for growing farming. In some parts, they still harvest coffee the old fashioned-way.

Then they spread out the beans to dry on concrete terrapins. It takes several days depending on the water.

These are the fruits of the harvest . . . and what the world drinks!

In the story Coffee in Brazil and the story Men of the land.
