Without planning to do so, I went to an outdoor rock / pop / jazz concert last Sunday (August 17) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I enjoyed both the music - including the very loud rock segment - and the photography.
I found this percussionist to be an interesting character, but shooting him was such a challenge. He was right at the back of the stage. And practically in the dark.
This is my last upload in a series of images for an article on night photography.
Thanks to Jontelle Naquin's Drummer, I was inspired to make a last minute switch and use this image. It meant that I had to re-write my article a bit, but I feel this is a very much better choice.
Thanks :-) Jontelle, this is dedicated to you.
