Backstage with Chasing Pandora: The Troubador, London

Throughout the week London has been enjoying the mellow sounds of Gozitan (Malta) talent, Chasing Pandora. I caught up with the song writing duo Mel Xkeyfa and Keith Anthony and acclaimed session guitarist Charlie Bussutil at their opening gig at the Electro Lounge on the cusp of London’s trendy East End. Chasing Pandora rocked this intimate bar with their thought-provoking tracks which were well received by a discerning London audience.

The third gig of the London Tour, and a highlight, was at the Troubadour, the infamous Earl’s Court coffee house that has played host to the likes of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Led Zeppelin and guitar legend Jimi Hendrix. Playing to a full house, Chasing Pandora rose to the occasion and wooed the crowd with more of their diverse repertoire of exclusively original tracks. Sitting back and enjoying this potentially defining moment in the band’s career it was warming to hear the accolade from other signed performing artists, the London fashionista and the UK press.
