Great composition! My eye is drawn first the middle third which is in fact the "real" image in the photo, then to the mirror image below, and finally to the lifting fog above which poses the mystery of what lies beyond. I wish I could wait it out and see for myself!

It's really a technically perfect photograph. The rule-of-thirds is followed to the letter with the water line running along the lower one third and the line of fog at the tree-tops at the upper third line. But much more importantly, it's an emotionally awe-inspiring photograph. The way the light is hitting the center group of trees draws me into the frame and holds me there. It's wonderful to be presented with such a beautiful view, and even more wonderful to be able to recognize it and be able to capture it. It truely follows to the definition of luck: "Where preperation meets opportunity." Thanks! R
