    great shot, was this taken from a small open door plane? how did you get the directly above angle, and clarity?

    It was taken from a regular passenger jet. I had to increase the contrast to compensate for the haze created by the window and the atmosphere.

    Teriffic Image! Earths surface is fascinating to me... It is more interesting from above as abstraction.
