Union troops breakthrough Confederate lines in a South Carolina Civil War reenactment.

Here a Confederate soldier rallies his lines by waving their battle flag.
The angle of the flag and the way his comrade is helping him at the top of the defensive mound gave me a sense of the famous Iwo Jima image of the US Marines raising the US Flag.
