If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Tx.
These memories of the past are quite eerie at night. We had to move quick because a storm was coming in and the rain was about to come pouring down within the next hour or so. We stopped by two hotels before finding one with a room. The stay was terrible that night. Our first room began leaking around the tops of the windows and water poured down on the A/C unit. We asked to be changed to another room and the next one wasn't much better.
We woke up the next morning to find that some criminals had helped themselves to our suitcases that we had foolishly assumed would be safe in the back of my limo-tinted black hatchback locked outside in the parking lot. They took a carriage bolt, used to hold down the bed of a pickup truck, and held it with their arm wrapped in a cheesy Spongebob t-shirt. They then proceeded to smash in the back window of my car.
It rained about 6 inches that night and the interior got soaked.
Amarillo wasn't good to us.
But I love The Ranch.
