strange clouds. In ancient times it would have probably been seen as an omen, and a ship sailed, war started, sacrifice made. Today, it's a cool shot.

Great shot Jess. They appear to be Cirrus clouds becuase of the whispy appearance. Perhaps they are black because of changing light on thin grey Cirrus. Hmmm very unusual. I've never seen these. Great catch. I will look deeper. Peace David
