What city do you live in? What neighborhood?
I live in Sacramento, CA. I technically live right within the boundary of Carmichael, which is near Jesuit High School.
What are some adjectives that describe your neighborhood?
Scenic, pretty, calm, bustling, nice, suburban, just plain awesome.
How long have you lived there, and what brought you there?
I have lived in Sacramento a total of 9-10 years. My Dad's family business brought us here from Rockville, MD.
What is your favorite thing about this place? Your least favorite?
My favorite has to be my neighbors, because they are all one year younger than I am, so they constantly keep my inspired to do new things with them. My least favorite thing has to be the number of cars that drive up and down our street because they don't see the "not a through street" sign.
Do you feel that you belong there?
Of course I do, because it's my home! However, there are some times when I feel like I don't, and I miss the east-coast and all of my old friends.
What is the most common misconception about where you live?
Well, the one thing I certainly hear a lot about is how the kids at Jesuit are doing or dealing drugs at or near school.
What is a special fact about your city that you have to live there to know?
I dunno. I think that all of those things are known by everyone around the United States that is the least bit interested in Sacramento, California.
What aspect of your city do you secretly love?
Though it looks like a pollution warehouse from far away, it actually provides for the best picture-taking of a small city that I know of.
