Ten Tips

Beautful Beach Pictures: How you can do it too!

I am the sticky - sweet little boy in your life
I am an empty stretch of beach, one of which is calling your name
I am the couple on Flagler Beach who are merely two black dots walking along the water
I am the little girl who screams "Ahh, Mommy look what I caught, look what I caught!"
I am the little boy in your arms who laughs as he screeches "No, Daddy! Don't tickle me!"
I am the little girl on the beach who sings to herself as she waters a garden of sand

Okay, everyone loves pictures of the beach, right? Well, here's ten tips to help you take your own amazing beach photos. Number one, put your camera on a sports setting for pictures of water, boats, fish, and people (or anything else moving in your frame). Number two, always keep your elbows braced against something, whether it be your sides, a picnic table, or even the ground. Number three, when you're taking poised pictures of people on the beach, or anywhere else for that matter, count to three. This way everyone is doing what they're supposed to be doing when they're supposed to be doing it, this saves time, film, and patience. Number four, make sure that something is going on in the frame, anything - the wind blowing, waves crashing, fish swimming. This makes the picture interesting. Number five, if you want a picture of a beach with no one on it - go to one that's privately owned or go right before or after a storm. Number six, be careful and aware of your surroundings. If you slip on some rocks and fall you could break or even lose your equipment, or yourself for that matter. Number seven, if you are off shore and taking a picture of the beach from a boat, make sure you don't zoom in too much, this will diminsih the resolution and make the picture fuzzy. Number eight, if you are taking pictures of the water, straight down is boring! Spice it up a little, get some strange angles and make people wonder how the heck you did that. Number nine, at sunset and sunrise silouettes are easy and beautiful too. You don't need a photo editing program to make it look like a silouette. And finally, what you've all been waiting for! Number ten, have fun with it, take pictures that everyone has seen before from a different angle, make it unique, make it so that no one will be able to take the same picture. Make it so they don't even get close! I really hope that these have helped you and that you start taking your own beautiful beach pictures.
