San Diego, CA
Windansea, CA (South County)
What are some adjectives that describe your neighborhood?
Upper class, rich, surfers, beach area
How long have you lived there, and what brought you there?
One of the most beautiful coastal areas in California
What is your favorite thing about this place? Your least favorite?
High tide is magical. The sand disappears, and the waves crash hard upon the rocks. There is however a strong "local" vibe among the surfers.
Do you feel that you belong there?
I don't know anyone who doesn' feel at peace when they are looking at the sunset at Windansea.
What is the most common misconception about where you live?
The most common misconception is that all of the people are slackers and beach bums.
What is a special fact about your city that you have to live there to know?
This is the birthplace of modern surfing.
What aspect of your city do you secretly love?
I love it all in the open
