Photo Essay

Brooklyn Churches

Places of worship range from the extravagant to the humble. Tucked neatly in between dollar stores, liquor stores, and empty storefronts- Brooklyn, New York is home to an endless number of humble places of worship. A stark contrast to the cathedrals and temples of the world. They often go unnoticed, becoming a kind of wallpaper to the neighborhoods- except to those who find something behind those doors.
