New York - never a boring moment

Throughout the last 6 years I have become one of it's temporary inhabitants. Not being from New York but from Europe I still feel an outsider when it comes to some things but when it comes to the neighborhood I usually stay in, I feel as being part of the habitat. People recognized me, ask me if I just arrived and tell me their stories. This year I might follow one of the characters I met for a day and immortalize his life's story on digital film, who knows.
People might not be as polished as you might find in other parts of the country, but they are as real as they can get. From uptown Bronx to Downtown Chinatown you see many different cultures, languages spoken and different kinds of people both in culture, religion, race and other characteristics but one thing they have in common. They are New Yorkers and proud of it.
