Photo Essay

Jack Sparrow

One Eye Open

The tree where his nest was fell down - my son was hired to cut down the rest of the tree and do clean up - He found 2 little birds but didn't know what to do to save them so put them under a bush - The next day my son went back to finish the job - this little guy was desperately trying to get away from his sibling that was dead & covered in ants. (I had told my son the night before about saving a piegon years ago) - Bob felt so bad for this tough little survivor he called and asked what to do - He managed to hydrate the bird and I went to get eye droppers and baby food - He's now graduated to meal worms eating almost 100 /day - I learned of a wildlife sanctuary here in town that took Jack -put him with other little sparrows his age and he'll now learn to be a bird....wish I'd known of this place weeks ago.
