The Diamond that stole my heart.

Out of one of my twin doughters ,Diamond,was borned...And my hole life gaved a turn that changed my hole world.She was sick when she was a new born baby,with hidroencephalus,Doctors implanted a shunt in the back of her head ,as a newborn baby ,she had to be transfer from ,the Southhampton Hospital, where she was borned to the Stony Brook Hospital ,both in long Island N.Y.,with a case of wooping
cough and thats how they discovered she had hidroencephalus. The worse thing about this was that her mami, my doughter, was not abailable to take care of diamond,she was also sick,with the worse sickness in the world ,drug addiction...So I had to take over and when she was relesed from the hospital ,I had to bring her home ,wich it was the tinyest cattage I ever seen...Alone with her 2 litter sisters and litter brother ,ages, 5 ,2 and the boy was 1...They also had wooping cough.She was so fragil. I was so scared ,so worried ,I decided to go to P.R. with the kids ,so I rented a house were they could be conftabled and I could be close to my mom that was in her ,80's.Many bad things happened there ,to much to be explain here,but Diamond was now my baby and she stole my heart.She loughed a lot and in the middle of all the confuccion I was going through, she gave me strength to be able to take care of the others ,too. Diamond ,was able to give me somthing I can't still descrived,she stole my heart,I love her in such a special way ,I love the others a lot, too. But Diamond, did what the others never did ,played with my hair ,put makeup on me ,paited my toenails alonged with my toes,smiles....I remember when my hair was tangled she would say ,hold your breath and she would jank my hair, with all her strength ,she thought it was fun ,I tought it was very painful...Lol...She used to tell me, grandma, I love you over and over and asked if i was going to dye.Sad quetion, when you know the ansewer is yes..Now Diamond is 11, soon to be 12, she is doing good ,she was twise for a short period of time back with my doughter, her mom and twice removed again, alonged with the other children....She still with me ,she would like to live with her mom ,but is not posible,children no matter what want their moms ,in there lifes, she does not know her Dad neather do I..She always asks who is him,I have no answer.So this pictures along with the hundreds more I have ,are from Diamond...The one that stole my heart...Grandma...By toniemuniz.6/7/09 PS.
