What do hurricanes and people have in common?
Katrina came to the gulf coast as many storms before her, but little did we know she would leave behind such devastation and so many victims. As the world's eyes focused on New Orleans, the gulf coast's forgotten victims suffered silently. Mobile, Biloxi, Bayou La Batre and many other unmentioned locations felt the blows of Katrina's punches. Homes gone, families disassembled, and survivors displaced. Through these few photos my hope is to bring those forgotten cities to the remembrance of America.
