in the lamp light

I recently stayed in a stylish hotel in Barcelona. No wonder a city with such amazing architecture shows off its style in every place and small details.
I first noticed the nice dotted texture on the lamp in the warm morning light and became fascinated by the curves of the lamp in contrast to the dotted lines. Later the light situation had changed completely, now the silver steel lamp didn't show any dots at all. All pictures turned out black and white, without my intention. I am still not sure what I like best, the warm sunny dots or the cool steel appearance.
