Capturing Lights In The Night

I like to scribble and psychedelic wobble, to create a kaleidoscope of colors. Varieties of colors are recognizable from lights in the night; in return, the lights reflect and create patterns. Capturing those lights on camera can be strange, beautiful, and colorful. The results are fascinating.

The camera I am using is the Canon 40D with a Tamron lens: 28-300. I set the lens on manual, and the camera on (P). I love shooting city lights, car lights, bridges that is illuminate at night, and any light that caught my eyes.

A tripod is good to have, but not necessary. (Christmas lights are wonderful too).

I like to take photos from the front seat of a car when it is moving. I get better patterns when I shake the camera, or when the car goes into a bumpy ride. I get wonderful results.
