New York: Street By Street
By Jennifer Wilmoth

This ongoing story is to capture New York City in all facets. This current installment is of New York's infamous 34th street. 34th street is probably one of the busiest, congested, streets in all of New York. The essays (this one and more to come) are meant to engage viewers and envelope them in the views of the city. These photos are created using two different digital SLR cameras. I feel that by using separate cameras it gives the project vibrance and versatility . Photos have been spliced together to give a sense of jaggedness and fast pace. These triptychs are reminiscent of bus advertisement signs and the illuminated signs in the subway systems (trains) of New York.

Great stuff! This is an excellent idea for an ongoing series. Love the saturated look.
