Speed dating

A Game of 2 Halves has been running since October 2008 at Bar Kick in Shoreditch, London and it aims to put a different spin on speed dating. Nearly 200 people have attended the match-making event so far, which incorporates table football, signature cocktails and quirky conversation topics. The night is hosted by "Hank McHandle" and "Lady Evelyn Ware", who came up with the idea while working behind the bar. During the evening, up to 40 hopeful singles are encouraged to try out quirky flirting techniques and cliche questions are not allowed; so discussion topics can include "tight breeches – fashionable fancy or flogging offence?".
