the misfits iii - the ruined wedding/the drinking problem
By jen bellefleur

they were the misfits, caught up in their webs of love, lies, and intrigue. life's traditional milestones--marriage, children, first love, illness, loss and heartbreak--all seemed exaggerated and impossibly dramatic in their tiny world. they spoke a lost language, but it didn't matter, for their faces told the stories. they came from all walks of life, both rich and poor, educated and not, humble and proud, seedy and wholesome. one worked hard, another, a gold-digger. one an honest and loyal friend, another a backstabber, still another a scheming criminal. their story unfolds just like ours, one day at a time. they are the misfits.
