The Middle School

These photos were inspired by the many series I've seen here on JPG of decrepit buildings. I've passed by this rural, abandoned middle school a number of times and wondered about what remained inside. There were no 'keep out' signs and the driveway was clear, almost offering an invitation to the interior. There wasn't much out of the ordinary in its architecture, but the quiet feel of a building rotted open to the sky was unique. The one surprise was the bold blue curtains that remained on the gymnasium stage. The color was a stark contrast to the weathered surroundings.
