Sky Painting

As well as a photographer, I am a long-studied watercolourist. In painting, one of my minor (perhaps major) obsessions is abstraction. I love artwork that makes perfect sense, but cannot possibly be conveyed in words.
This is a sense I often strive to convey in my photography, and a very common theme if one steps back to see my portfolio from a distance.
I have been drawn to the sky lately in my photography. Much of it is due to the season change around me, and my particular location having excellent views to the sky. The rest is due to awe and amazement. The wonder never disappears, never lessens. I can stare at the sky for hours upon hours and find new things every minute.
