Photo Essay

ennui

neglected

Perhaps not the best use of the word ennui, but it felt like it fitted.

A couple of weeks ago I'd taken my son to a swing park my wife used when she was a child.

Whilst he was happy using the parks equipment, the swings and other rides struck me as sad, almost melancholy.

And the idea for a new project began, documenting the saddest little swingpark in the world.

All photos in the story were shot on a medium format Mamiya C330, using fujifilm pro400 film.
