Using Flash in Concerts IS Fun

I have gone through several texts in "How To" sections and "Concert Photography" tips where usually it is written that using Flash during concerts is a big "NO NO".
I just want to say - it's a big "YES YES" and more importantly it's fun because you never exactly know how the photo will turn up.
The settings I used were:
Lens: 18-135 mm
Shutter Speed: 1" to 3"
Aperture: f/4 to f/22
Flash: On (on camera flash)
Flash Mode: Rear Sync
Focus: Manual
ISO: 400 to 800
And,
A lot of experiments !
