London Light: 42 Arica Rd.

It was early May and spring had finally arrived in London. A rich, deep light wrapped the city in a feint glow. I was transfixed as my friend's basic flat, along with the accoutrements of the everyday, was cast anew. Half full soda bottles and near empty cigarette boxes now became of keen interest bathed in this soft light. Almost upon arrival I snapped away. This continued for the next four days throughout London; its markets, alleys and canals. It all began at 42 Arica Rd. where three Americans studying the cello put up two of their friends who had come to visit.
