Louisville Polar Bear Plunge

The Louisville Polar Bear plunge is done every year to support the Special Olympics. These brave and somewhat foolhardy individuals and groups raise funds by promising to jump into the very cold, today 34 degrees Fahrenheit, Ohio river. This is all done with a sense of humor and a very coordinated outlook towards the safety of the plungers. I am always amazed by the hearts of people and there is help for humanity.

This is a wonderful cause that these people are freezing for. Great photos and story capturing this event. Well done.
