Florida's Feathered Friends
By Bruce and Vida Larson

It is not unusual to take a walk through any of Florida's numerous parks and find a wide variety of impressive birds. Ranging from the typical Seagull to the more elegant Herons and Ibis.
Since moving to Florida four years ago, we have found ourselves referring to our bird pocket guides often. Some of these feathered friends often are found in our own backyard.
We always try to capture the birds in their natural habitat and in various forms, including perched, in flight and searching for food.
In some ways, it is almost like skeet shooting trying to follow the birds. Predicting their next move is nearly impossible, but it is fun to try.
