Photo Essay

Revealing Italian Threads

Sheep Parade

The Henri Cartier-Bresson theme inspired me to do a photo essay on my growing collection of Italian people images. As a global nomad, writer, and photographer, I seek to capture through words and photographs revealing cultural moments. In doing so I not only develop a better understanding of the country I'm living in, but of myself. And that growth brings about a lasting connection between me and the country I have the privilege of calling home for awhile. Through sharing my perceptions I hope to show people around the world that all of us are more alike than different and that the best of our differences are the vibrant threads of the fabric of life.
