Can't shake New York

Let every man mind his own business.

It's a grim day in The Netherlands. Gotten colder again, dark clouds cover the city of The Hague and while listening to Paul van Dyk's New York City I start feeling dreary and homesick. I decided to go through my immense library of images, sounds and videos I shot during a 7.5 year period. And even though I never visited NYC before 2003, I spent a long stretch of time between 2003-2009 and feel like I left my mojo and part of my soul in the city. Reliving my memories releases a lot the feelings I felt while walking though the streets of Manhattan and the other boroughs with my camera's, a bottle of water and a whole lot of inspiration and motivation :). There has not been one single city, and I seen some during my years, that has made such an impact on me.

A great story and images. Funny how a place can become such a part of you.

    |Thanks ladies, it's not a sad story. I have been fortunate enough to live New York on the streets, in the apartments of friends, in the markets, on the rooftops and whatever you can imagine. It's better to have been able to lived that, then watch CSI NY, Seinfeld or Friends hehehe :')
