I absolutely love HDR photography and I've only really started appreciating it by seeing everyone's amazing HDR's on JPG. However I have no idea how to actually go about producing a real HDR image. Nonetheless I create a "fake" HDR by boosting the contrast using Photoshop or windows 7 editing suite (what I use). By doing this you can bring your photographs alive by enhancing the character and vibrancy to a greater level. I'm not even sure if this is a fake HDR technique but it certainly does the job! I've included my most recent car photos and some older photos which I feel are rather effective. Hope you enjoy as much as I have!

I like the VW buss images alot. I've experimented with a similar "fake HDR" technique using camera raw and Photoshop CS2.Nice article.

I really love your shots here, I just wish I knew more about HDR!!! Even the fake! I've seen some here and a lot on another site I use, but I don't quite understand the technique or how to use it... Maybe my editing program doesn't do that? Idk - Great shots, tho!
