What city do you live in? What neighborhood?
San Francisco, California; the Ingleside/Ocean View District.
What are some adjectives that describe your neighborhood?
Tight, Victorian, Artsy, Somewhat hipster, From wealthy to a little ghetto, Suburban, Residential, Green parks, Hilly, Cabled streets, Lots of sidewalk
How long have you lived there, and what brought you there?
I just moved to the City to transfer to SFSU for a B.A. in Journalism (with concentration in PhotoJournalism)
What is your favorite thing about this place? Your least favorite?
I love how much there is to do in the City. So many different places to go and things to see and do. I love how conveniently close the park, school, library, store, and even the beach is.
I hate how close people get to my car with their car and their own bodies! I hate driving in the City, but that's why I take the Muni.
Do you feel that you belong there?
Yes, I belong for now, but I'm kind of a gypsy in my mind. I always feel I must eventually move on. I want to travel the world.
What is the most common misconception about where you live?
The most common misconception is that I live with gay men! My roomies both have girlfriends. And not everyone in Frisco is gay or even tolerable of it.
I don't mind. Sexuality of others is not my concern.
What is a special fact about your city that you have to live there to know?
"The Japanese Hagiwara family actually invented 'Chinese' fortune cookies at Golden Gate Park's Tea Garden." --from "Fascinating Facts about San Francisco" By Betsy Malloy, About.com Guide

What aspect of your city do you secretly love?
I love how much art and open-minded thinking is embraced. I'm okay with a little weirdness.
