Minneapolis Strangers

I live and work in downtown Minneapolis, a medium-size city in the Midwestern section of the United States. Earlier this year, I began approaching people I saw on the street on my walk to and from work, and then asking if I could take their picture. My commute takes me around the edge of the city, which means I encounter a different population of people than the usual "suits" who commute here for their 9-5 office jobs. Some people I chat with for 20 minutes, others only a minute or two. My goal is to capture people the way I see them, where I find them.

Nice story-- a little more about the portraits would make it great!
