UPDATED-Our Views, Our Lives, Our Experiences, Our PERCEPTIONS, and my first showcase!

PERCEPTIONS ON DISPLAY. Orlando Emmanuelli has produced a collection of images expressing the mixed views of our society's interests and personal experience. These photographs take us on a ride of abstractions of perseverance, imperfection, pride, joy and other concepts. Together they show us the bigger picture: our PERCEPTIONS on life.
"As time has gone by, i have noticed how my views on different subjects in my life have changed, sometimes drastically. Some for the best, some for the worst. That is something that happens to all of us, and with these images i tried to capture that experience."
Orlando has developed his eye for photographic aesthetic and composition. His graphical expression has been very personal, as he built his image collection. The results are now displayed with PERCEPTIONS.
The exhibit is being shown at:
99 Madison Avenue 5th and 6th Floors
New York NY
Alongside work from other artists as of September 1st, 2010.
The opening reception is scheduled for Thursday October 7th, 2010 at 6pm. More specific information about the exhibit will be made available closer to the date.
Orlando has been photographing for the past 10 years. His main interest is capturing the moment. A mixture of candid and journalism photography. With this style he has built a large collection of different subjects throughout the years. His library includes landscapes, street-scapes, nature, travel, Architecture and portraits. Pride, happiness, solitude, imposition and many other concepts are displayed in his work.
He is working on a few projects at this time. Between those he is developing a Portrait portfolio. Besides that, Orlando is also working on an architectural interest collection. This one shows details on different structures in cities like New York, San Juan, Paris, Rome, Copenhagen. A public interest project is also on the works, with the intention to raise awareness on our current homeless population. Additional concepts are also in development.
