Lodz, Poland - Beautiful and Depressive at the Same Time

Lodz, situated in the centre of Poland, is an old post-industrial city. It used to be the textil industry Eldorado from the 19th centur untill the dawn of the communist era. It was also a centre of the Jewish life and culture.
Exhausted and exploited, now it's slowly recovering. It's one and only such place on Earth. Both beautiful and repulsive. If you are in a good mood - it will make you happy. If you are worried about something - it will amplify your fears. Amazing.
