As You Were

Josh #1

This body of work stems from the belief that we are what we ingest. I am trying to find out who I am and to do so, I take portraits of those that effect my path to here. To know who you are, is to know your history.

"As You Were" is taken from military use to symbolize the lowering of the guard I seek when taking portraits. If these are the people that crafted me, I want to see the truth of them.
