Camino de Santiago -- My 200km Walk
By Suzanne Naughton
18 Jul 2011
We travelled as pilgrims, staying in albergues, rising in the dark & walking up to 5km before stopping for cafe con leche & tostadas. Our biggest day was 30km and we encountered many of the same people, over & over. Not unusual when we are all heading for the same destination.
The route passed through many rural towns where we shared the roads with cows, sheep. goats & donkeys.
