mehndi laga ke rakhna

a very close friend got married a few days back...a traditional hindu wedding...so the day before all her girl friends and family got together for a evening of song and dance and applying mehndi...or henna ...the bride had it put on her feet and hands...the rest of us just got it put on our hands...the women applying the henna were amazing..fast and such intricate designs...was a pleasure to see these artistes at work...these are some pictures of the brides and a few others...
