Photo Essay

People

passive

This has been a long running project of mine. Street photography was like school for me, it was where I learned to adjust my settings, how to use white balance and appreciate black and white. Photographing people is really hard because you can`t just walk up to them and say "i`m going to photograph you" and expect them to say yes, or if they do say yes, it would not be natural. they would act and pose, I take snapshots and almost always a lot of it. I look for photographs that capture the emotion, the feeling and the expression.. these are a few of the photographs that I have taken so far..

Emotive work. Generally, one takes portraits at eye level -- these photographs reinforce the subjects' socioeconomic status by choosing this perspective.
