dawn till dusk....

A jpg friend, Dawn Duffield and I made a deal to do a photo shoot at the same time, same day except we live on the opposite side of the states. I lives in San Jose, California and she lives in Tampa, Florida.
We need motivations and inspirations, so the deal.
We set up a date one Saturday, March 3, 2012 and communicate through phone texting. I decided to go around my neighborhood as my photo site.
Shown here are the images that was taken and discovered. A view of downtown San Jose and the Silicon Valley as seen on a hilltop that was taken in the morning. Later in the afternoon, I went to a nearby Hellyer Park and started photo shooting. I captured people at the park, trees, picnic benches. This series of photos are my favorites. I was so excited to capture the ducks swimming in the lagoon under the shimmering shadow of the sundown. A wonderful sight to see. I was so engrossed taking photos until I heard an announcement that the park is closing for the day (it is open from sunrise to sunset) , I can't help myself but sit down for a while on the grass and watched this amazing nature show. I promise myself to come back one day, no camera and no photo shoot, just enjoy this peaceful and tranquil view and just commune with nature.
