My name is Joshua Levy a student currently attending the Antonelli Institute for Photography. A few selected students and I were given the special privilege to meet and photograph with a world known photojournalist Colin Finlay. We found out that later that we would be photographing in the historic Lansdowne theater in Lansdowne,Pa. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us and have never been more excited in my life.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with open arms and got to know a little history about the theater. As soon as able to photograph I want upstairs to see what I could find. Every room I went into I just observed my surroundings to see what i could find before I photographed. I observed everything. One thing that hit me the most is that every room I walked it felt so empty even though it was cluttered. Every single room i went into had history and I loved being surrounded by that feeling. I made me feel like I'm apart of something, apart of history.
I will never forget this once in a life time experience. This opportunity has inspired me so much and it was even better to get a chance to work with Colin Finlay on this Project
