What's your profession? Please describe it.
I am an independent visual artist base on contemporary photography movement. Beside creating artworks and fine art photography, I also worked as a professional commercial photographer.
Where do you do this?
In my studio at Jakarta City, Indonesia
Do you enjoy what you do?
Don't know why I can get a lot of enthusiasts and customers in selling this kind of photography at Indonesia. Working with pregnant clients are very fun, made me more confident. Because to them these photos are very meaningful, especially for the baby. I always imagine in time when the babies going to be someone very important or famous in the future, like the president or the inventor. Then they look back at her pregnancy photos pregnant with him, what will they say an thinks..?
When you were young, what did you want to "be" when you grew up?
I always want to be an artist. A real artist that never stop inventing and bring my works to change the world . Of course I would'nt mind to be a billionare artist like Picasso.
Do you feel stuck doing what you are doing?
No. I think every piece of works I create has always changing and grows, whether good or bad it is growing. By working as a commercial photographer, I can filter the selfishness that I have to brings balance into my real fine art works.
What are the most and least satisfying parts of your job?
For this maternity shots is when my clients really love the works that I made, so they have a lasting memory in a time, in which my photos have been recorded
How do you combine photography with your job?
Photogaphy is an images of culture, time and life. That's why these people has trusted me to recorded their life and moments into photographic images. Wtih that kind a trusted, I think my photograph will be in their life, to be a part of them.
