Tonle Sap
By ROCIO GUILLEN

The Tonle Sap is combined lake and river system near the city of Siem Reap in Cambodia, and it is also the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia.
Even when it was designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1997, the lake is very polluted and the people who live there, mostly vietnamese, struggle every day to survive.
At this area, it is usual to see people, even children, who have been injured by landmines that remain still in cambodian fields.
Regardless all that, the floating village has become one of the most popular attractions for tourists.

This is something that most of us do not see - a floating village. You did an excellent job of documenting it. I was glad to find this story as I wanted to know where the photos were taken when I saw them on your site. Voted!
