Photo Essay

Happiness in a rain drop....

SAVE WATER....SAVE LIFE.....

Every day, events in nature are actually incredible, when given a closer look. Take for example a raindrop falling off a leaf after a recent rain -- while that may not seem very interesting when it happens so quickly, it's actually a complicated dance between water, the leaf and the air.

Photography allows us to witness such an event in all its detail and glory. By taking a picture of the raindrop as it falls off a leaf or other surface, we can learn a lot about aerodynamics, the way water moves and even how different surfaces create different shaped raindrops.

Such photography was just impossible for me as there was no macro lens I have. I was happy to see my friend Claire Crocker's photography ( http://jpgmag.com/people/ceocrocker) with water drops. She has mastered upon such photography with much enthusiasm. Every time, I appreciate such photographs with incredible comments as she deserves the best.

One day, I thought, without macro lens, lets take some snaps with NIKON D 90 and started taking few shots. They are in front of you.....I need to learn more and more........

As Charles Chaplin rightly said.....

"I always like walking in the rain, so no one can see me crying." it touched my heart.

Thanks for viewing these pictures and encouragement....
