Have Camera Will Travel

I started taking an interest in taking photos when we took our first trip to Europe with 7 Foreign Language students from the school we were teaching in, Westerly High School. Our first digital camera, the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S50 was slightly more than 1 MB. By 2007 I was looking for a DSLR because the delay taking a photo with the Sony was such that I'd miss action shots.
Our first DSLR, the Canon 350D camera (better known as the Rebel XT) came with Canon's standard EF 18-55mm lens which had very little zoom capability. Within a year I had replaced it with a Sigma AF 18-200mm DC OS Zoom lens.
I was not too happy stitching photos together to create a panorama so I purchased a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX5V camera to allow me to take panorama photos. I also have an iPad and iPhone that have iSight cameras capable of taking panorama photos.
Recently I've replaced that lens on my Canon 350D with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens while at the same time purchasing the Canon 60D with the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens.
This photo essay contains photos I've taken with each of these cameras and lenses along with a few taken by disposable cameras.
