Hearth Cooked Thanksgiving

This year my mother decided that she wanted to do something she evidently has wanted to for a long time, namely go to Sturbridge Mass for an authentic 19th century Thanksgiving. Overall, it was a nice time, the museum was open and we walked around the town center and into the exhibits.
Later in the afternoon dinner was served in the Bullard Tavern where we were treated to an authentic meal of Turkey and the trimmings along with a nice squash soup, mulled cider, and for dessert, Indian Pudding. All in all it was a nice stress free Thanksgiving.
